1) Limit Stat-up Programs
The most annoying moment when you turn on your beast, you would expect a lot but all you see is slow you'd have to wait for at least a couple of minutes before you operate.
This is due to loading of multiple applications at one shot. This happens often when you try to load new software on your PC (remember when you bought your PC ? i was frigging fast in the beginning !!)
To Disable Start-up programmes,
1) Hit Windows Key + R to open the RUN console
2) Type msconfig and hit enter
1) Hit Windows Key + R to open the RUN console
2) Type msconfig and hit enter
3) Click On the Startup tab and un-check all the programmes you don't use often
4) Check only programmes that are really needed (like the antivirus, audio driver console, download manager)
5) Click OK and reboot.
Important: Do not disable programmes that are really needed. and make sure you disable any unwanted start-up applications after you install a new one
2)Rely on an Anti-Virus application
There are certain nasty virus that clutters you PC speed made by real nasty people ( HACKERS !!) that is why the we have something called "anti-virus"
Just installing an antivirus won't do the trick, you need to update the antivirus regularly. In Order to do that, you should have a decent internet connection
If you don't want to spend money on antivirus i recommend getting the Avast Free! it works really well for me.
3)Delete Temporary Files to free up some space.
Okay, There are two ways of doing this
1) By using a Third-party Software.
2) Manually.
Using Third-party Software:
The one I, (and most of the other bloggers out there) recommend is CCleaner
Its just an amazing software to clean the junk out in few simple clicks
rather than just smashing the junk out, it does other things too . It fixes broken registry, missing dll's,and more.
there is also a tab called tools which is quite similar to the msconfig thing.
Manually:
1) Start RUN Console and type %temp% and hit enter
2) Delete all the files/folder you see (that's right there just temporary files it contains thumnails to your images and the other stuff )
4) For Hardcore Gamers
Inspite of having a good graphics card, if you are not able to have any success in playing the game smoothly? I recommend something called the "Game Booster"
There are Plenty of game booster available after trying each of them (mostly), found Razer gamebooster and it does its job pretty well
what it actually does:
there are certain background programmes running on your machine that swallow up your RAM . This Game booster temporarily pauses the unnecessary background applications and resumes them after you exit the game.
Note: You must have a Razer account to use the game booster ( just login once and you will not have to use internet again)
